GOP: Study belies Obama claim, US has 2% of World Oil
Republicans are accusing Obama of pushing a less than honest, (telling lies) claim about the scarcity of domestic oil, after a U.S. Geological Survey study showed the United States might actually hold a quarter of the world’s untapped, undiscovered supply.

House approves Indian and black farmers settlement – $4.6 Billion
The House today approved a decades old settlement which is said to be worth $4.6 billion that finally resolves two class action lawsuits against the federal government by black farmers and Native Americans. The many thousands who filed the suit claim that the government discriminated against them when they applied for loans for agricultual projects. The vote to approve the settlement was 256-to-152.
