Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is just one of many Democrats constantly hounding Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to produce more of his tax returns, more than the 2 years which he has released by law.  But when anyone fires back at Reid, he refuses to release his records, which has some speculating just where and how Harry Reid made his millions.

Democrats and Republicans scrambled for election-year gain from the Supreme Court’s ruling Monday that threw out key provisions of Arizona’s immigration law but upheld one that requires police to check the status of people who might appear to be in the U.S. illegally.  Democrats are saying that the ruling now will lead to racial profiling while Republicans said it strengthens the right of states to make and enforce their own immigration policies.

The chairman of the Senate Budget Committee says that he believes neither party will ever come to an agreement on a budget plan before the presidential election, even though the Republicans have a plan in the works. Sen Kent Conrad, who is a Democrat says he is at peace with Sen Harry Reid’s position that the chamber does not need to bring a budget to the floor.

Work in the Senate is so stagnant, it will never be fixed until Sen Harry Reid is removed from office, is the opinion of prospective New York Upper House candidate Bob Turner. Just 6 months in congress, Turner said his biggest frustration has been the Senate’s lack of action on bills sent up from the House of Representatives.

For quite sometime now, Obama has been trying to push his jobs bill through congress to no avail. Part of what he is trying to do is lure the building of roads, bridges, buses and trains as a way to get Americans back to work. But does it really work? And many lawmakers are pushing the bill by saying it will be a job generator.
